I am honored with the invitation of the Community Art Project of Laguna Beach (http://www.caplaguna.org) to do a solo photography show at the Wells Fargo bank in Laguna Beach from January 15th to March 15th.
The title of the show is Citizens of the World. More than thirty photographs from various indigenous cultures from around the world will be shown, accompanied by narratives that both inform and inspire.
Everyone is welcome to the artist reception on Saturday, January 26th, on the second floor gallery of the Wells Fargo bank at 260 Ocean Avenue in Laguna Beach from 11 to 1 pm. A catalogue, Citizens of the World: Words and Photography, which includes some of the works in this show, will be available for purchase with a personalized autograph. For those unable to attend the show, the catalogue may be previewed and ordered online through the link below.
There are endless ways of seeing. I invite you in visiting my blog or coming to my show to see the many forms and varieties of what it looks like to be a citizen of the world. My travels have taken me to ‘far away’ places both within myself as well as out in the world. As people, we may appear different but the contrast might inform us and allow more curiosity and possibility. Look deeply; see what arises for you.
